This is the day we begin handing out Aardvark Dollars.
For every $10 you spend you will receive One Aardvark Dollar in return. This special is valid on all in store and online merchandise. Gift Cards are included! Aardvark Dollars may be redeemed in the shop starting the day after Christmas all through 2021!!!
Stop by our shop to pick an ornament off our tree. Purchase all or some of the recommended items on the back of the ornament or purchase something else. These are only suggestions. Buy for the individual as if they were your own family member.
These gifts will be going to the Northampton Country Children, Youth Families Division. Gifts are due back by Monday December 14th.
Aardvark is re-opening on Friday, June 5th.
Aardvark is excited to announce that we will be re-opening for in store business on June 5th. These last few months have been a challenge for everyone, and we are looking forward to seeing you in person and thank you for your continued support! For the first few weeks, we will have slightly altered hours:
- Friday, June 5th from 10-6p
Beginning June 6th, our store hours will be:
- Monday through Wednesday, 10-5 pm
- Thursday through Saturday, 10-8 pm
- Sunday, 12-5 pm
During your next visit you will notice a few changes, designed to keep our customers, employees and their families safe and healthy. We are committed to keeping surfaces (fitting benches, counters, dressing rooms) virus free. We also will have social distancing reminders throughout the store, have installed sneeze guards at the front counter, and will have a sanitizing station at the entrance of the shop for your use.
As part of the re-opening we are requiring all staff and customers to wear a mask when in the common area of the store. If you arrive without a mask, we will provide one for you. We are also limited to 10 people (including sales staff) on the sales floor at any time. Unfortunately we may ask you to wait outside the store for a brief period if we are at capacity.
In addition, we encourage you to take advantage of the following ways to shop safely!
- For those customers who have underlying health conditions (or have members of their households who do) and would like to take extra precautions, we are offering Scheduled 30 Minute Fittings during mornings Monday through Wednesday. If you would like to take advantage of this option, please visit Shoe fitting calendar to schedule a time to meet with an Aardvark staff member. While the store will not be empty, it will ensure that you will not have to wait for a fitting.
- We are also continuing to offer Virtual Fittings using Zoom. For now appointments are available on Monday and Friday afternoons. These fittings are similar to our in-store fittings, but obviously customers are unable to try shoes on. They can be scheduled at Virtual Shoe Fitting Appointment
- Make your purchases online at shop.aardvarksportsshop.com
- Call the store at 610-866-8300 and order over the phone!
We are happy to ship your purchase over $40 for free while the Lehigh Valley is under the “Yellow Stage” designation. We are also offering Curbside Pickup when we re-open. Currently the Bethlehem Parking Authority has two meters set aside for Curbside Pickup in front of the store on Main Street. Just call the store at 610-866-8300 when you arrive and we will run your package out to you!
Finally, those of you who made online or phone purchases while we were closed don’t forget to bring your Aardvark Dollars in when the next time you visit. Just like those distributed during the holiday season, they are redeemable for in-store purchases until 12/31/2020! We will stop distributing our special spring edition Aardvark Dollars on Thursday, June 4th.

Once the votes were read we were secret shopped. The secret shopper evaluated our greeting, fitting process, overall experience with sales associate, store appearance, store operations, purchase details and overall experience.
