Our staff has been putting the miles on the new Hyperion Max 3 over the past few weeks. Runners at The Vark were excited to see this update with additional cushion, moving this version firmly into the max cushion category of daily trainers.
FIT - 5 OF 5 STARS
The Hyperion Max 3 fit true to size or slightly short for our runners. Everyone loved the updated knit upper and thought it hugged the foot nicely while providing ample toe space in the front. The tongue and added cushion around the ankle, classic to Brooks shoes, made for minimal heel slip and foot movement on the go.

CUSHION - 5 OF 5 STARS
This version is giving Super Comp Trainer vibes and we are here for it! The added cushion made for a softer ride compared to the previous version. The Max 3 is still providing versatility in the cushioning in that is a soft and padded for the longer efforts, but also provides a nice snap on an uptempo run. The rocker and Speed Vault plate are carried over from the previous version and provide smooth transitions, even on tired legs!

The staff was in agreement that this shoe provided a phenomenal balance of comfort and speed. Everyone put on many miles in the shoes, from 15+ mile runs to shorter fartlek style runs. The consensus was... there is no doubt this shoe is made for distance! If you are looking for a comfortable ride for longer runs or something that doubles as a race day shoe - this could be what you're looking for!
